Katharina Finke (*1985) is a German non-fiction author and journalist who is covering stories around the world. So far she reported from Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Chile, China, Germany, India, Israel, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Uruguay and the US.
Finke works freelance for print and online media, as well as for German speaking television broadcasters and multimedia productions as an author, editor, stringer and video producer. Her work concentrates on environment and society with a focus on gender and human rights issues. She also works as a moderator.
Her first non-fiction book "Mit dem Herzen einer Tigerin" was published in 2015 by HEYNE/Random House. It deals with violence against women in India. “LOSLASSEN - Wie ich die Welt entdeckte und verzichten lernte” is a travel-book, in which Finke writes about her minimalistic lifestyle whilst traveling the world. It was released March 2017 by PIPER/MALIK.
