James X. Morris is a journalist and PhD Candidate residing in Taipei, Taiwan. His work combines state-of-the-art technology, surveying, and storytelling to weave detailed narratives in the realms of journalism, academics, and publishing. His articles have appeared in The Diplomat, Taiwan Sentinel, and News Lens International. As a journalist his articles cover Taiwan and the greater Asia-Pacific region in areas of politics, political-economy, cross-strait relations, non-traditional security, fisheries, labor, society, and humanities.
