Fresh Island Festival 2016 is Europe’s leading Hip-Hop and Urban music festival set on the stunning island of Pag in Croatia. Returning for it’s fifth anniversary in 2016, Fresh Island is the only beach festival in Europe where you’ll see DJ’s, MC’s, boat parties, pool parties and more representing the absolute best in Hip-Hop, R&B and Grime.
Fresh Island Festival 2016 is a hip hop music festival held at Zrće beach near the city of Novalja in Croatia.
Founded in 2012 and usually held in mid-July the festival focuses primarily on hip hop culture along with r&b and grime. The festival takes place in 3 different venues on Zrće beach: Aquarius, Papaya and Kalypso. It also offers daily boat parties and pool parties, excursions and extreme and water sports.
Since 2012 Fresh Island became the biggest hip-hop & urban beach festival in Europe featuring musicians, DJs and MCs from all over the world. In 2016 the festival will be held between 12–14 July. The festival line-up so far includes: Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla Sign, DJ Premier, Tim Westwood, Shakka and Logan Sama.
Fresh Island Festival brings the finest hip-hop, rap and RnB music on the planet to Novalja. Croatia's beach paradise makes for the perfect setting, as the summer season takes a break from house and techno to put on Europe's best urban beach festival. Names like Pusha T and Action Bronson led the line last year, and 2016 promises to get even bigger and better.
