Donovan Valdes is a concept painter and illustrator, specializing in visual development and design for over 15 years, in Film, Games, and Print. A native of South Florida, Donovan studied fine art and animation at the Univeristy of Central Florida where he earned his BA in Motion Picture Technology. Following graduation, Donovan produced designs, storyboards, and animation for print and film until moving to Raleigh-Durham to pursue a career in video games.
Over the next fifteenth years, Donovan assisted in the production of numerous games, including Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. His art has been featured in Gamers Magazine and exhibited at Ubisoft Headquarters in Paris, France. In his spare time, Donovan enjoys playing guitar, writing music, and spending time with his family.
Projects Donovan has contributed too include, The Division, For Honor, Far Cry 4, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon and many more.
