WATCH: Henry Cavill is Geralt of Rivia in Full Trailer For Netflix Series 'The Witcher'

Netflix have released the new full trailer for the upcoming series, "The Witcher," starring Henry Cavill ("Mission: Impossible - Fallout") as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter from Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy action stories. His novels were also translated into popular role-playing video games. The series, however, will take source material from Sapkowski's books.
Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together
Character images were released in early July, just a few weeks ahead of the show's SDCC panel. At the time, a release date was unknown but now fans can relish in the wait as the series is set for a winter release onto streaming.
