Japanese director Yokna Hasegawa started her career as a photographer, winning the "Canon New Cosmos of Photography" award in 2013. Even though she saw filmmaking as a distant dream, she has since released two Sci-Fi movies. In her films, set in a dystopian Japan divided by conflict, she explores the boundaries between reality and fiction.
