Daniela Apaydin (Neubacher)

Short bio

Daniela Apaydin (Neubacher) studied Journalism and Communications in Graz and St. Petersburg. After working in both fields, she finished a postgraduate Master in Central European Studies at the Andrássy University in 2015.
In 2021 she has defended her PhD thesis in Historical Science, focusing on
cross-border protest movements and environmentalism in Central Eastern Europe. Since 2018 she has been working as a Research Associate at the
Institute of the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM), located in Vienna.
