In a similar article published previously, we looked at some of the most astonishing natural occurrences. In this one, we will look at some similar yet very cool natural phenomena that exist. They are beautiful, scary and most importantly natural. Read on as follows:
Biolumine scence

Ever wondered how water tides, or the skies or even air emitted a light? And this light looked extremely eerie and spooky at the same time? The whole phenomenon is known as biolumine scence that happens when light emitting organisms in water or air bodies become excited. Biolumine scence can occur globally, but those occurring in water bodies especially as biolumine scence tides happen in California and surrounding places. Colors look blue and sometimes red. But usually, biolumine scence is usually a shade of blue.
Super cells

Storm cells usually form when there are differences in air pressure in the atmosphere. Whenever this storm cell gains enough power, it becomes stronger like tornado but more powerful. Thus, forming a super cell. Super cells are like tornadoes but are fiercer and spin more and they are the cause of several different tornadoes forming at the same time.
Volcanic Lightning

A very scary thing to imagine but this is true and it happens often when there is a volcanic eruption. According to scientists, whenever a volcano erupts, positive charged particles are release into the atmosphere. A difference in charge occurs between them and the particles already present in the atmosphere. This difference in charge causes lightning to form. And the result is a very weird natural phenomenon. The idea is simple though, static electricity causing the formation of volcanic lightning.
Fire Rainbows

Rainbows look cool anyways. But imagine a large halo of light that is refracted and look absolutely beautiful. Fire rainbows might be a scary name but they are not. They occur when the sun is 58 degrees above the horizon and the sky is filled with cirrus clouds. The clouds will have to have plate shaped ice crystals that will allow the light to refract. This refraction of light will make sure that the it is parallel to the horizon. Afterwards, the arcs created are humongous and those part of it which are seen are seen as the fire rainbows. A weird yet majestic natural phenomena indeed.
Auroras

Auroras more commonly known as aurora borealis. The beautiful streaks of light that form in the skies during the night and are especially seen in the Polar regions along with places which are closer to the poles. They also go by the name of polar light and are one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing natural light display in the skies of those places. Aurora borealis or just aurora have a nice story towards their formation and to why they are a weird natural phenomenon. Magnetic fields in the upper half of the atmosphere also known as the stratosphere excite charged particles with energy that are accelerated by solar winds. The gas particles present in that part of the atmosphere collide with these charged particles and thus the weird formation occurs. Auroras beautiful yet weird natural phenomenon.
Finnish Lapland

As the name suggests, it is one weird natural phenomenon that occurs in parts of Finland. Or maybe that is from where they were first seen or observed. Finish Lapland is basically a phenomenon that occurs in the most coldest of regions. There, the weather can go way below the freezing temperatures and thus cause the snow to form weird shapes. It looks surreal, if said in a literal way and the trees of such regions are covered in the foamy snow and they appear as surreal, and alienated structures. Thus, Finish Lapland is once again a weird natural phenomenon.
The Great Blue Hole

The ocean is one great and vast body of water that is full of mysteries. It is heard that we all came from the ocean and there are still organisms in the deepest of oceans that are yet to be discovered by scientists. One such weird natural phenomenon related to the ocean is The Great Blue Hole. This weird phenomenon is a deep submarine dive hole or a sinkhohle that is over three hundred meters in diameter and one hundred and twenty-four meters in depth. This weird natural phenomenon is in Belize.
