(Heartland Newsfeed/Ambush Sports) -- It's Saturday and it's yet another night of pro wrestling. Here's a recap of MLW Fusion and Ring Of Honor Wrestling for February 15, 2020.
MLW Fusion
It's rare that Major League Wrestling owner Court Bauer allows anyone outside of his broadcast and production teams to run each show, but it has happened. Tonight's broadcast is produced by stable members of The Dynasty - Richard Holliday, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Alexander Hammerstone.
Three matches were slated for the broadcast:
Cino Medina v. Septimo Dragon
Alexander Hammerstone (c) v. Aerostar for the MLW National Openweight Championship
The Dynasty (Holliday & MJF) v. The Von Erichs (Marshall & Ross Von Erich) (c) for the MLW World Tag Team Championship
A flashback to an interview by Alicia Atout with Mance Warner, asking for his thoughts on The Dynasty. Warner had to give that some thought while taking some drinks from a Natty Light before calling them "assholes." It would go back to the broadcast with a sheet of paper stating that Warner is banned from the premises (Dynasty spelled it as "permises") and should alert security.
Flashback to a Fusion broadcast from last month where MJF was attempting to recruit Medina to the faction, attacking who appears to be Konnan.
It returns with what appears to be an incredibly biased tale of the tape toward Medina, apparently incapable of knowing how to spell "Konnan".
The match appeared to be incredibly scripted with Medina getting the win, then showing the sign of clear disrespect by removing Septimo's face mask.
Back to another biased scripted commentary which cites that a title change is guaranteed in the main event, with a message from "Filthy" Tom Lawlor.
The broadcast cuts outside, where Warner is, where the Dynasty isn't allowing him in because he "didn't meet the dress code."
A commercial for MLW Intimidation Games aired. The event will be held at Cicero Stadium in the greater Chicagoland region on Saturday, April 18. Tickets are available now, starting at $10.
A promo aired, citing that Erick Stevens would arrive in MLW soon. Commentators Rich Bocchini and AJ Kirsch confirmed upon returning on-air that Stevens would actually debut next week.
Title match for the MLW National Openweight Championship kicks off between Aerostar and Hammerstone, with Konnan joining in commentary. There were some good moments where both sides had great offensive strikes, but it was not enough for a title change, as Hammerstone retains with the three-count. Like Medina, Hammerstone was also disrespectful, by removing Aerostar's mask.
They cut to Lawlor and Dominic Garrini from Dallas on the hallowed grounds where wrestling legends such as Ric Flair and the prior generation of the Von Erich brothers once wrestled. Both wished the best of luck to Marshall and Ross in the title match.
They cut back to Mance Warner after the Lawlor/Garrini promo ended, where he cited that he was "ready to wreck The Dynasty's party."
Promo for Killer Kross, giving a clear sign that his contract with WWE is open-ended, promising an appearance in MLW soon.
Brief promo from Contra Unit, with an announcement that leader MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu will be in action with the title on the line against CIMA from #StrongHearts in three weeks, on Fusion's 100th episode.
Cutaway to a January 11 article from The Dallas Morning News, which covered Ross and Marshall Von Erich.
Alicia Atout is backstage with a pre-match interview with the Von Erichs (with Davey Boy Smith).
Another Warner promo, where he's carrying a 12-pack of Natty Light, when he's stopped by security, telling him he can't enter. Warner persuades the security officer to have a beer. He was offered another beer and possibly the distraction of a dancer named Tina. Warner was allowed to go in after the security officer called MJF an asshole. The security officer leaves while Warner heads on inside the venue.

Fusion returns with an announcement that King Mo will return to action next week. Erick Stevens' opponent was revealed to be Douglas James. Tom Lawlor and Ross Von Erich will also be in action.
Another tale of the tape of clear bias in favor of The Dynasty (what appears to be a recurring theme in this broadcast).
The tag team championship had a lot of back-and-forths, mostly cheap shots and out-of-ring attacks by The Dynasty. Hammerstone attempted to walk in and interfere in the match, but that was ruined by a chair shot from Mance Warner. Medina entered and attacked Warner and they continued to go at it. The Von Erichs got up, double dropkicked Richard Holliday over and out of the ring, while Marshall firing up the Claw Hold and applied it to MJF while Ross comes up to set up the finish with a back-to-belly suplex and the pinfall to retain the championship.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
The broadcast starts out with the TV tapings from the Final Battle: Fallout event on December 15, 2019 from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, where Silas Young and Josh Woods defeated The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark Briscoe) in a number one contender match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

The first match Ian Riccaboni and Quinn McKay cut over to was a recap of a match at ROH Honor Reigns Supreme last month in Concord, N.C. between Alex Zayne and Bandido. Zayne would win the match (no elapsed time reported by ROH as of publication).
Following a commercial break, a photoshoot promo with Dalton Castle and Joe Hendry aired before going back to Riccaboni and McKay, who announced that the next iPPV, ROH Bound By Honor, will be in Nashville, Tenn. on Friday, Feb. 28, returning to the St. Louis metro area (dubbed Gateway to Honor) for the first time in three years at the Family Arena in St. Charles the following night. Tickets are still available through their website.
They would cut to a recap of another match from Honor Reigns Supreme - a Women of Honor matchup between Sumie Sakai and Nicole Savoy. In the recap, it was revealed that Sakai won the match.
Brian Zane, ROH "historian", broke down the top five factions in ROH history, which were:
5) S.C.U.M. (Cliff Compton, Jimmy Jacobs, Jimmy Rave, Kevin Steen, Matt Hardy, Steve Corino, Rhett Titus and Rhino)
4) The Embassy (full list)
3) The House of Truth (Truth Martini, full list)
2) The Age of the Fall (Brodie Lee, Jimmy Jacobs, Leva Bates, Tyler Black, full list)
1) Generation Next (Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal and Roderick Strong)
They immediately go into another Honor Reigns Supreme matchup in tag team action between LifeBlood (Mark Haskins & Tracy Williams) and Vincent & Bateman, which later ended in a disqualification, as the result of outside interference.
Returning from commercial, an eight-man tag match (also from Honor Reigns Supreme) between The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas), teamed with 2 Guys 1 Tag (Silas Young & Josh Woods) and the team of Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Jeff Cobb & Dan Maff aired. (The most comical spot in the match was that of Bruiser appearing to bite Jay Lethal, which was met with a lecture from senior official Todd Sinclair, then does his signature line, "I can't bite, I don't have any teeth!") After three segments, the latter team would emerge victorious as the broadcast prepared to come to a close.
As much as Sinclair is in the ring, there needs to be more referee help in that department.
