Professional Ranking Snooker Tournament Snooker Shoot Out 2022 ended after four days of thrilling matches, know about the winner, results and prize money distribution
Snooker Shootout is the eighth-ranked competition of the 2021-22 snooker season. It is played with a varied rule from standard snooker.
The tournament continued from 20th to 23rd January at the Morningside Arena, Leicester. The tournament proved unpredictable as Jak Jones eliminated the title favorite Ryan Day in the first round. Ryan Day was the reigning champion who won 2021 Snooker Shoot-Out.

The closest match of the competition was between Yuan Sijun and Tom Ford. Sujan won the game after a sudden death blue ball shootout after the regular game finished with 26-26. Lukas Kleckers also won a match via sudden death blue ball shoot out after his game ended 12-12 against Tian Pengfei
The first semi-finals of the snooker shootout were played between Mark Williams from Wales and Robbie Williams from England. Mark Williams won 124-1 after a dominating performance.
The second semi-final was a matchup between Hossein Vafei and Liang Wenbo. Hossein Vafei emerged victorious after a close 92-48 win and proceeded to the finals.
In the finals, Hossein Vafaei defeated Mark Williams 71-0 in best of 1 frame format. It is worth noting that Hossein is the first professional player from Iran.

Champion Hossein Vafaei from Iran was also the MVP of the tournament. Only two players in the tournament scored century breaks but Hossein scored the highest break with 123 points in the semi-finals. Hossein took home a prize money of 55,000 pounds along with the title of 2022 BetVictor Snooker Shootout champion.
