Final round of balloting of the Heisman Trophy ended on Monday, two days after contenders made their final impressions on voters in conference championship games. 870 members of the media, former Heisman Trophy winners, and fans cast a single vote.

DE, Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson: With first-team all-conference honours, the senior has already been voted Big Ten defensive player of the year and defensive lineman of the year. He has 13.5 sacks, which is a programme record.
Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett: The four-year starter led the Panthers to their first ACC title and first New Year's Six bowl berth since the Fiesta Bowl in 2004. He has set programme records with 4,319 throwing yards, 334 completions, and 42 touchdown passes.
Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud: In his debut year as a starter, the redshirt freshman made an early impression, compiling an 182.2 quarterback rating (second best in the country) and throwing for 351.1 yards per game (fourth best).
Bryce Young, QB, Alabama: Only one quarterback (Bailey Zappe of Western Kentucky) was able to throw more  touchdown passes than Young. The sophomore had managed 559 passing yards against Arkansas on Nov. 20, breaking the record that stood for 52 years, and threw for 421 passing yards against a stout Georgia defense in the SEC title game, breaking the record for that contest.

The winner of the Heisman Trophy is going to be announced at 8 p.m. Saturday in an ESPN televised event. In India, the Heisman Trophy 2021 award ceremony is going to start at 6.30 a.m IST (Dec 12).
