_“Death is too unfearful
to think of a purpose.”
A fellow said this
who was standing at the road curve.
_“Life does not have that much time
to gaze at its own age in the mirror,
or to pensively select
between a laughter and a teardrop.”
A fellow said this
who was standing at a T junction.
_“Love does not have the opportunity
even to say
why she loves you.”
I swear another fellow said this too!
A shivering cypress tree
who stood
straight
in the middle of a crossroad of nowhere.

«ــ مرگ را پروای آن نیست
که به انگیزه‌یی اندیشد.»
اینو یکی می‌گُف
که سرِ پیچِ خیابون وایساده بود.
«ــ زندگی را فرصتی آنقَدَر نیست
که در آیینه به قدمتِ خویش بنگرد
یا از لبخنده و اشک
یکی را سنجیده گُزین کند.»
اینو یکی می‌گُف
که سرِ سه‌راهی وایساده بود.
«ــ عشق را مجالی نیست
حتا آنقدر که بگوید
برای چه دوستت می‌دارد.»
والاّهِه اینم یکی دیگه می‌گُف:
سروِ لرزونی که
راست
وسطِ چارراهِ هر وَرْ باد
وایساده بود.
