The new trailer for GKIDS' "Weathering With You" was dropped today by the studio, which was submitted for the upcoming Academy Awards in hopes of being nominated for Best Animated Feature, and is the official submission for Japan for Best International Feature.
"Weathering With You" is directed by Makoto Shinkai, an acclaimed filmmaker who gained notoriety with the critical hit "Your Name." The film is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide beginning on Jan. 17, 2020.
Fathom Events will have Fan Preview screenings on Jan. 15 and 16. Tickets are now on sale.
